There were 3 A skins & 3 B skins but Bob did not get the sign in sheet yet, skins payout and money list not updated. Last week a former member, Ray Zadd, re-joined to the league, Welcome back Ray! Seems like only a few years ago everyone would show up at random and put a foursome together and go. Remember those days with you, Lloyd, and Bidak, well. By the way Bidak is now AKA “Iceman”. Need to put together a seniority/member list, I know many have been in the league since early 80′s.

Congrats to “3-wood” Jim Matousek who wins the tournament at -4 and Rob Gilham who finished second at -1.
In week 4 only 3 people net under par. Matousek had a net 33 while Kula and Madar both had the low net at 31. Matousek, Madar, and Colovas led the week with 5 pars, while 4 birds were recorded by Madar, Kula, Tim Norris, and Mike Suren. In matchplay Madar leads with 21 points, Matousek with 20, and Phil Williams with 19.

Week three results are up. Matousek leads at +3, Rob Gilham in second at +4. Gilham had an eagle while McGranahan had three birds. Matousek, Giham, and Williams all net under par at 34.

Letter from Bob… Posted schedule

Attached is the schedule for 2012. As always, if we have a rainout stay on the date of schedule and we will add times at end of season.

Don’t want to curse it but this has been a nice mild winter allowing more than a few guys to get at least one round in every month since our last season ended.   For those rusty hacks who don’t remember where they stored their clubs last year it’s time to find em and brush off the September mud.

Weather looking like we could start the league this week but officially it won’t start until April 5, 2012.  Here is Bob’s letter everyone should have received.  Let Bob know if you are not planning on playing this year.

The Atwood trip is on again this year, May 17-20th. Get a hold of Bob if you did not receive the invite.

All I rember is Bob Timko won the tournament at -2 after starting out with a 9 on hole #1. If I get the full results I will post them. Congratulations Bob!

One other thing I recall is that Jeff Hanwell got his revenge on hole #8 recording a hole-in-one. I hate to see the jackpot go, valued somewhere around $1400, but that is poetic justice. Congratulations Jeff!

Didn’t get all the data but it looks like Wein took the last tournament, Chips came in second.

LCT starts at 11:00 Sat 9/24/11

Final tournament of the season comes down to two rounds.  So far Pordash takes the lead at -2.  Pordash, Weeb & Tim Norris put up 5 pars while Pordash, Keller, & Stevens each had a bird.  Keller took the card game again, think that is three for the year placing him in second behind Cramer on the money list.  Top point winner is still up for grabs.

Norris won his match against Gute who was previously undefeated in matchplay.  Word is Gute is out of the country for the next three weeks, so it doesn’t look like there will be a final matchplay round  possibly making Tim Norris the matchplay champion.  We are scheduled to play the back nine this week for the last round of the 6th tournament.  Final LCT is this Sat Sept 24,  watch your  email for starting times.
